About Orson
I'm a software engineer by trade, spending my days wrangling Kubernetes clusters, automating infrastructure, and convincing servers to behave. By night, I'm tinkering with my homelab and an ever-growing list of self-hosted services.
When I'm not staring at terminals, I'm painting Warhammer miniatures, building custom mechanical keyboards, or obsessing over raw denim. I make music sometimes. I'm working on a rock opera based on my father's book—yes, really.
I'm a single dad to two amazing daughters. They're the best part of everything.
Badger Bytes is where I write about the projects, rabbit holes, and lessons learned along the way.
