Some days I just sit and wonder what is going on in the world of Tech-land. AI is all the rage these days, but at the same time... probably the most hated thing on earth. The stigma of using AI for anything is increasing to levels of hatred that make one wonder. Why are we tearing down such a useful technology?

Me thinks it is because of our innate desire to control things around us. When AI comes knocking at the door, threatening us and the employment we all took for granted in the white-collar world, we fight for our livelihoods and our jobs. We seek to preserve the OLD status quo out of fear of something new and hard to understand.

Do I like AI, you may ask? Do I just use it to stay ahead of the curve? What is it I am supposed to do now? These are all questions that I have asked myself. For me, I will continue to use it and make it work for my needs.

As a single father, time is something I really do not have, nor am I able to divide it up much when I do have it. I am always working, always trying to make sure I can support my children and keep them fed and sheltered.

We as a society need to adapt to this future change, otherwise we are going to be left behind in the dust. We are not going to easily influence the AGE of AI when it is being run from the TOP by a bunch of elite people who couldn't care less about us. They want to use it to replace people. The irony is... we still need people to run the operation in the first place.

Can AI develop/program? ABSOLUTELY, and it is pretty great at it! It's not perfect, but the quality is good enough to create working products. At the end of the day, a working product is what most people care about. They do not really care about HOW it came to be.

The future is AI-driven. Are we still employed? Did we all just become the machines' playthings? What will happen is a mystery, and there are so many people shouting DOOM and GLOOM.

I choose to remain positive, adapt, and learn all that I can about these new technologies. I really hope we can all work together as a society and make things better.

A STAR TREK world is what we all should be aiming for.

Here's to the future. Will you join me there?
